Beach Dogs on the Eve of the Fourth

With 4th of July one day out and six months of the challenge officially in the books, theweasel1337 took the celebration to the sand. Two caramelized-onion dogs in cardboard trays sat on a blanket facing open ocean, a lone beachgoer and crashing waves in the background. Sandals off, dogs out — the picture is pure summer.

The timing was no accident. The group had just marked the halfway point of the year, with 𝓒𝓻𝓲𝓼𝓹𝔂 𝓛𝓮𝓽𝓽𝓾𝓬𝓮 noting "6 months down... 6 to go" and Tilor already hyping the Fourth as "a big day for dog consumption." Consider this the official opening act.
