C. G. Wilson's Dodger Stadium Report: The Dogs Still Suck

C. G. Wilson showed up to Dodger Stadium on May 30 with an open mind and left with a verdict: Dodger Dogs, both super and regular, still suck. The photos tell the whole story โ€” the classic foil-wrapped stadium dog looked fine enough in its Pantella's wrapper under the afternoon sun, but paired with a genuinely excellent homemade spread (charred brats topped with bacon and what looks like a pimento cheese-style sauce), the ballpark version had no chance.

The real flex was what C. G. brought to the post-game kitchen. Two beautifully seared sausages, strips of crispy bacon draped over the top, nestled into buns slicked with that chunky orange spread โ€” the kind of dog that makes you wonder why you'd ever pay $8 for the stadium version. Sometimes the best hot dog review is the one you cook yourself.

nandopanto's Dodger Stadium Double: Baseball's Greatest Snack, Finally Logged

nandopanto had a question for the group: is there a time limit on posting your glizzy pic? The photo in question was from a couple weeks prior โ€” two fully loaded Dodger Dogs held up against a packed, sun-drenched stadium, the diamond green and perfect in the background. Mustard, ketchup, relish, diced onions. The full treatment. Daniel gave the green light, and the dogs were officially on the board.

Then, almost at the same time, nandopanto dropped a second photo: a group of three grinning friends in the stands at what appears to be an Angels game, foil-wrapped dogs piled up in their laps like a small hot dog mountain. Turns out this wasn't a solo mission โ€” it was a full crew outing, glizzies and all. The delayed posts made it feel like finding a hidden roll of film from a very good day.
